The hotel is in a fantastic location, overlooking the harbor and Bryygen, with excellent views. The rooms were a bit tired, needing cleaning and updating, but the view of the harbor was superb. The location is very central, making it easy to get around the city, by the fish market, and across from the World Heritage area of Bergen.
